These little paper mache ballerinas are all ready for showing off their newly learnt dancing skills. They are handmade by me from a chapter about the theatre and dancing in an old book I found in the charity shop from the 1950s called "The Girls Book of Hobbies". I don't normally like to use books for my paper mache but this book was too perfect for me not to use... I also managed to find a second hand  bright coloured tutu which was then just right for them.
I hope these wee girls find their way as gifts to those who appreciate dance and its wonderfulness! I am a big fan of all genres of dance - can you tell? :)
They are aprox. 15 cm tall on their bases and come in a zini sized gift box.
